Join us for an engaging no-cost seminar to understand the important documents and decisions needed to ensure your wishes are carried out as planned. Celebration of Generosity

Each year, the Community Foundation celebrates and thanks the generous donors whose philanthropy is transforming the Quad Cities region. The annual Celebration of Generosity is a moment to gather, connect, and put a spotlight on the spirit that makes our community shine. Invited guests enjoy inspiring stories from donors, nonprofit partners, and community leaders dedicated to positive change.

The 2026 Celebration of Generosity will be held at Hotel Blackhawk Davenport on Tuesday, September 22.

Strategies for Private Foundations

The Community Foundation hosts in-depth conversations on trust-based philanthropy and grantmaking specifically designed for private foundation leaders. During these sessions, Community Foundation staff share how trust-based philanthropy and practical grantmaking strategies are being applied locally through private foundations. The conversation includes:

  • Testimonials from private foundation holders, including

  • An overview of private foundation conversion opportunities

  • Time for questions and discussion

No matter why you give, these sessions are designed to offer concrete insights and real-world examples to help you support the causes that matter to you in the most effective way possible. As a private foundation holder, consider joining your peers for thoughtful dialogue, shared learning, and connection around the future of your philanthropy.
