Maddi attended Western Illinois University in Moline, where she earned a bachelor of business in accountancy. At Western, she was involved in the Society of Accountancy, previously serving on the board as the secretary and the co-president. Maddi has previous experience in banking and public accounting. She joined the Community Foundation in 2022. In her role, she will be working on bank and investment reconciliations, monitoring fund balances, and calculating spendable balances for endowed funds annually. Maddi resides in Moline with her partner and three cats: Oliver, Ellie, and Shilo. In her free time, Maddi enjoys painting, board games, going on walks and hikes, and boating.
