This weekend's Iowa Illinois Regional Auto Show isn't just about showing off the newest cars, it's also helping out local college bound kids. Organizers with the Auto Show work with the Quad Cities Community Foundation to offer scholarships. Eligible recipients must have a parent working in the local auto industry. This year six lucky students will get a scholarship. "We will be giving $25,000 to college bound and technical school bound students," said Susan Schrader, Auto Show Event Coordinator. "That'll be done at the premier night on Thursday night. So far, the auto show has given out $205,000 in scholarships over the years. This year's auto show opens Friday morning and continues through Sunday night.
