In memory of Mariah Becker's grandfather, Gordon Ross Reese

Gordon Ross Reese, grandfather of the late Mariah Becker, passed away on Sept. 26, 2013. His granddaughter, Mariah, was an active teen, volunteering her time and participating in school activites. After a courageous battle with cancer, Mariah passed away on November 5, 2002 at the age of 20.

Gordon's family has asked that memorial gifts in his honor be given to the Mariah Becker Memorial Scholarship administered by the Quad Cities Community Foundation. The scholarship was established by Mariah's family in 2003, and has awarded over $11,000 in scholarships to local students.
