$376,650 in Scholarship Funds Awarded to Area Students
On May 18th, $376,650 in scholarship aid was awarded to 47 Quad City Area high school students. The awards were presented during the Quad Cities Community Foundation’s annual scholarship reception held at the Outing Club in Davenport, IA. The reception provided an opportunity for scholarship fund holders to converse with their student recipient and learn more about that student’s educational goals and aspirations. By year-end, including all renewable scholarships, more than half a million dollars in scholarship assistance will be awarded to more than 200 students in and around the Quad Cities.
