KWQC: Quad Cities Community Foundation announce grants to expand workforce development efforts

The Quad Cities Community Foundation has announced two major grants to expand workforce development efforts.

In an announcement released on Tuesday, officials with the foundation announced that two Quad Cities-area nonprofits will receive Transformation Grants from the foundation to expand two different local workforce development efforts.

Mercado on Fifth and Vera French Mental Health Center will both receive $100,000 grants thanks to donors who give through the Quad Cities Community Impact Fund at the Community Foundation.
