You're invited to a special donor event at WQPT

The Quad Cities Community Foundation continues its monthly learning series on Thursday, September 12 by bringing Community Foundation donors behind-the-scenes at WQPT.

WQPT, the only locally owned and operated television station in the Quad Cities region, is celebrating 35 years this year. Community Foundation donors will get an opportunity to see how WQPT, a unique community resource, meets the need of the Quad Cities region. On the air and in classrooms, WQPT is a partner in life-long learning.

“Quad Citizens might not know that WQPT is more than a public television station, offering educational resources for teachers and cultural programming that enhances our community,” said Joscelyn Rowe, director of donor engagement and stewardship. “This will be a special backstage tour to see how WQPT continues to enhance offerings to meet modern audiences where they consume media.”

The series was created to bring together donors, community members and Quad Citizens working at nonprofits that have received grant support—or hold Nonprofit Endowment Funds—at the Community Foundation. The event is free to all donors of the Community Foundation. Please RSVP below or email info@QCCommunityFoundation.org.
