For a limited time, the Quad Cities Community Foundation will match—dollar for dollar—any new gift to an endowment fund held at the Community Foundation, up to $1,000 per household. A total of $40,000 in donor gifts will be matched.

The match opportunity opens at 8:00 a.m. CT on September 23, 2024, and will close when the $40,000 in matching funds have been exhausted.

“The $80,000 combined dollars available will drive the causes that matter most to our communities,” said Sue Hafkemeyer, president and CEO of the Community Foundation. “Opportunities like this energize the philanthropic spirit and generosity that are ever-present in our region.”

Celebrating its 60th year, the Community Foundation and their donors are investing in a bright future for the region. Endowment funds create steady, predictable charitable resources for generations to come.

“These matched gifts will continue to make an annual impact on our nonprofit sector through the power of endowment,” said Hafkemeyer. “A gift to the Community Foundation marks a commitment to our region, our neighbors, and our shared future.”

This matching opportunity applies to new gifts made with cash, check, or credit card. To learn more about this transformative opportunity, contact Anne Calder at annecalder@QCCommunityFoundation.org or 563-326-2840.
