Rocío serves as Major Gift Officer and Director of Engagement at the Quad Cities Community Foundation, where she focuses on cultivating meaningful relationships with partners to support the Foundation’s mission through charitable contributions. Rocío holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, and a master’s degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Granada in Spain. She draws on over 15 years of experience in higher education and community engagement, bringing a rich blend of knowledge and enthusiasm to her work. Proud to call Quad Cities home, Rocío is dedicated to contributing to a stronger, more vibrant, and inclusive community.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world, watching documentaries, treasure hunting in antique shops, and spending quality time with loved ones, especially her beloved cats, Leo and Gio.
