The Quad Cities Community Foundation has awarded Transformation Grants for the past five years, including awards to:

Born Learning ($100,000)

Sometimes giving is silent. And sometimes it’s done with a splash. Both matter, and both transform.

We’re approaching the time of year when we have the honor of awarding two $100,000 Transformation Grants—the most significant grants we make each year at the Quad Cities Community Foundation. We will announce the recipients and highlight their incredible work early next month.

The celebrations for our recipients are loud and strong—and they should be. The grants go directly into the hands of people who are ready to make waves. They are possible thanks to donors who give to the Quad Cities Community Foundation’s Community Impact Fund, the endowment started by our community, for our community.

The recipients have been notified (and sworn to secrecy for just a bit longer), and I know they are as humbled and excited by these grants as we are because we all know that the impact reverberates of possibilities. The Transformation Grants do more than consistently target critical needs and promising opportunities in our community. They give us insight into the legacies that donors hope to leave. They give us a window into incredible work happening in our community. They shine a light on how nonprofit leaders work hand-in-hand with public and private sector leaders to contribute to a cool, creative, connected, and prosperous Quad Cities.

We understand deeply the responsibility we carry in identifying and working alongside partners to infuse significant dollars where they will make an impact that empowers transformation to happen for individuals, organizations, and ultimately our entire community.

And now, soon, we will deliver the news to our community of two new $100,000 Transformation Grants that will allow two organizations to do what they do even better. As we enter this week of gratitude, know how deeply grateful I am for the trust and generosity of so many donors, friends, and colleagues who make these amazing grants and investments possible for the Quad Cities region.
